Hi everyone! I’m looking to buy a sauna and cold plunge for my home and would love to hear what’s worked well for you — any particular products or features you’d recommend?

@Yuli Ziv has said her next business could be consulting on this lol…..mind dropping some knowledge?

Also <@U096SSKTLV9> might have some thoughts (or WGM discount??)

This would definitely require an hour consultation haha. I was a GC for my sauna project and lots of lessons after a 6 months saga- ordering and installing a wet outdoor sauna from a beautiful instagram ad 😅.
First questions would be: indoor/outdoor, wet/dry/infra red, size 1/2/4+ person, location and surface.. budget etc just to start.. Feel free to DM

I love my sauna but wish I did more due diligence on the manufacturer.. I took quite a few patches to make it work.

If you're looking for advice on scrappy/inexpensive methods, happy to help - that's the route I took for my "starter" cold plunge 🙂 It gets the job done, but honestly a pain to keep cold without a chiller in the super hot summer months. I've spent hours on Reddit doing research on how to make enough ice to keep it cold, and ended up building an insulation for it myself based off a Reddit photo 😆

Haha that's amazing! I will let you know if we go that route 🙂

@Kelleigh Whelan happy to extend a WMG discount – something better than our best offer on site. Feel free to shoot me an email at farzad@plunge.com|farzad@plunge.com (as I check this more sporadically). Also if you prefer to speak to someone, I can set you up on a call with one of our team members.

We're definitely opposite the "starter" end of the spectrum (though we have entry level models). But if you're looking for the "Tesla of cold plunges," that's hands down our All-In and you'd be in good company: https://www.tiktok.com/@alixearle/video/7534574258698063134 🙂 #notsponsored

We installed a sauna a couple of months ago and my initial thoughts:
1. 3 person sauna has been great and compact for inside the house

  1. Think about flooring underneath it. We ended up putting a tile which I'm really happy with I hadn't realized the floor might just be empty at the bottom
  2. Love our cedar sauna because then the smell is great too
