Hi WGM members! Really excited to be here and special shoutout to @Sam Faillace the ultimate connector.

Name: Eric Jackson
Location: San Francisco (SOMA)
Current Role: Founder of Laurentum.io, A marketplace connecting Brands with in real life communities like running groups, cycling groups, and other health and lifestyle activities for marketing partnerships.

Hobbies: I love to cook and try to make at least one gourmet multi-course meal per week. I like playing tennis, painting, writing, and walking around SF listening to podcasts.

Favorite Follow/Podcast/Show about Wellness: Right now my wellness obsession is in therapy on Showtime. The focus on mental health and the way two people can be experiencing the same thing with two totally different perspectives is fascinating.

Topics You're Interested in Connecting About: I’m interested in everything surrounding being a founder and getting more leverage out of a small team including AI, offshoring, delegation, and partnerships. I founded Laurentum because after 20 years in performance/growth marketing I’m truly bored and uninspired by the "make 1000 creatives and post on Meta strategy". I’m obsessed with personalization at scale whether that be bots, marketplace mechanics, or partnering with communities.

How can you help WGM: I’ve spent about $400M over my 20 year career and taken multiple brands from 0 to 1. I am more than happy to answer any questions around performance marketing, conversion optimization, landing pages, creative, tech stack, organic channels, hiring, and have a great network of fractional and full time talent i can connect you with. We’re also early at Laurentum and are offering full white glove service for our customers helping them find, negotiate, and manage marketing campaigns with communities all around the US.

How WGM Can Help You: Of course I’d love to connect with any Brands that would like to work with IRL communities. I’m also looking for founder and executive leadership best practices and people to bounce ideas with. Book recommendations, podcast recommendations, and grabbing coffee in the Bay would be fantastic.

+1 to what <@U08QC8S4AJ1> said. Would be great to get a Bay Area crew together for a coffee hang
