With 3 kids in 3 different schools (lower, middle and high) morning departure window is LOOONG.

My youngest, the third grader, is definitely struggling without a buddy (he’s never had this experience) but it’s been nice having one one one time with him at this early hour.

With the weather being so nice, (we, too, try to limit screens, particularly in the mornings), I encouraged him to go play outside but then realized that would be petty lonely, so I followed him and challenged him to H-O-R-S-E 🏀 (and then P-I-G because were short on time 😝 )

Reader, he kicked my butt.

Other than that, all is great on this front. So happy school is back in session!!
