Yea, I used Different Health through Dylan. It was not necessarily the cheapest (probably $40 more than some other NYC spots), but they were really flexible with my schedule since I needed it to be outside of business hours.
They actually outsource the dexa to Extension Health that @adam wilkins mentioned. So that's where I actually did the scan

- Rose - Personal win, I've lost a little over 10% of my bodyweight (intentionally!) while maintaining a majority of my muscle gains.
- Bud - The full launch of this is coming up fast. Excited to see where it goes!
- Thorn - I'm continually over committing and it lead to lower priority objectives getting completed compared to one specific higher prio item that should have been resolved sooner this past month ๐

Biograph looks sweet. I cant tell if it's something that I need a membership for though/ need to go to NYC multiple times for. I'm mostly looking for a quick. in and out test ๐ . But it does look really cool.

Soft announcing (we can't publicly announce quite yet) a large partnership that has been in the works for a very long time.
We posted to help with our recruiting efforts leading up to launch date. Would love your help boosting the post!

I know the founders of this company:
If that would be useful? They havenโt grown marketplaces themselves but have sold software to hundreds of people who have. They know all the common pitfalls

Hey Matt thanks! I was actually able to find another intro for now so I'm good. But I may reach back out in the future
#asks-offers-advice - July 30, 2025 at 04:07 PM
Does anyone have a potential intro to the team at Weight Watchers?
#asks-offers-advice - July 24, 2025 at 01:30 PM
Sorry, I missed your response Oleg. I definitely agree with Tom^
We have also seen that the quiz typically beats out performance of no quiz. Our team has also talked a lot very closely with the Noom team (at least this was info from 2 years ago) and Noom has a notoriously long quiz. They told us that basically any A/B test they ran that involved extending the quiz almost always led to better performance. So they just kept extending it until they had this massive ugly beast of a quiz that they don't want to tear up. I think a lot of companies end of copying them, when it might not make sense to do so (Noom's quiz will literally ask you the same question twice sometimes if you go down certain paths).
But if you want just raw numbers, in general, I've personally seen conversion rates of 2% - 7% (when just talking about the quiz itself). If you are getting 5%+ I'd say that is pretty solid. The source of traffic was always the biggest lever on the quiz conversion for me truthfully though.

I'm not affiliated with it other than the fact that I show up for run club and said I would share with people I know because I love what they are doing.
#asks-offers-advice - July 21, 2025 at 10:54 PM
Hey everyone! My former colleague and his partners have started a community for dads - Dad Day
It's an online community + running club in 5 cities. I just joined the run club here in Pittsburgh - it's a blast!!
They are looking for more partners in the fitness+wellness space. So if you're looking to target men, aged 30 - 45, with children and high incomes (mostly doctors at UPMC, software engineers, and a few sales execs) check out the deck and I'll connect you!
PS. If you are in the Pittsburgh area and want to come out for a run hit me up (we have people of all skill levels)!

@Yuli Ziv I also had a call (back in May)
But it was a different company at the time.
#asks-offers-advice - July 14, 2025 at 01:49 PM
Hey Oleg! From what I've seen it can depend a lot on the context for what will be deemed "good".
1. What is the price point of the product?
2. Is it a digital product or physical product? Or a subscription? Is there a free trial?
3. The quality of the traffic being sent to it (tons of really inexpensive low intent traffic or very little high intent traffic)
#random - June 11, 2025 at 02:05 AM

We just launched Trainwell Teams!
Before: Everyone had to pay $100 - $150/month to work with one of our remote personal trainers 1-on-1
Now: Anyone can join a Team for free - get a trainer-built plan personalized to them - and then upgrade to a 1-on-1 trainer later if they want more personalization/accountability
And technically this is my CEO's post but would be directly helping me too ๐
#asks-offers-advice - May 06, 2025 at 11:36 AM
We actually have not tested this. We tried to reach to some specific creators we wanted to test with and it didnโt go anywhere. Itโs on our list of things to revisit and test this year though
#asks-offers-advice - April 10, 2025 at 01:43 PM
Interesting read and I think I generally agree, particularly for young startups. It is effectively the advice of "do things that don't scale".
His solution is to lean farther into technology and AI, which I think is valid, but I don't think it's the only "Little Channels". I think there are a lot of "channels" he did not list that are underutilized by startups and might in fact be ripe for disruption as a channel themselves.
I always recommend Gabriel Weinbergs "Bullseye framework/Traction" book to very early founders. There are a lot of opportunities out there that most people ignore.

Iโve personally always been disappointed by third party data. But I certainly havent tried every tool possible either (especially in the tiktok realm)
#asks-offers-advice - February 25, 2025 at 02:09 PM
The best way is truthfully/unfortunately to ask for screenshots from the creators. Which is not super efficient compared to a software tool

Yea, if you have not set up Google Search Console, I would highly encourage that
#asks-offers-advice - January 15, 2025 at 02:38 PM
But if this is all for AFTER the fund raise and you are just trying to get a sense of what $ to budget for these hires when going into the fundraise, then I would just use high range estimates to be conservative for the fundraise. Then you can pinpoint actual salaries when you are hiring
#asks-offers-advice - January 15, 2025 at 02:36 PM
The equity - for your very first hires - can be a great way to stay competitive and attractive without needing to have super high salaries. Especially if the company can't afford a ton of super expensive salaries right off the bat.
#asks-offers-advice - January 15, 2025 at 02:35 PM
- Are you expecting people to be in-person (you're in NY right)?
- Do you plan on offering equity as part of compensation (if so, have you allocated a certain allotment)?

How large is there channel currently? Or would you be willing to share the channel?
