Hi team! 👋 Anyone looking for an intern?
Hope everyone’s having a great week. I’m sharing a resume from a family friend who is looking for an internship in NYC starting this winter break. He’s smart, driven, and genuinely eager to get hands-on experience in marketing, partnerships, or brand work in the fitness and wellness space.
If anyone knows of an opportunity within your teams or broader networks, it would mean a lot if you could take a look or pass this along. Sharing his resume below.
Thank you so much! 🙏

F45 (FIT House of Brands) offers 16 weeks paid maternity leave. I am not clear on the paternity leave offering. F45 also worked with me to get an additional 4 weeks paid leave based on what the state of california offered with paid leave prior to giving birth. With that they covered 100% for 20 weeks. I was also able to take short term disability to take more time off, but that would have been unpaid. Still never long enough, but pretty great by U.S. standards.

Hello WGN - Does anyone have a contact at Seaport Common in Boston? Looking to host an event there.

Hi WGM members! Greetings from rainy Costa Rica. Grateful to both @Jackie Tsontakis for introducing me to the group and @Brian Von Ancken for bringing me into the fold. Looking forward to connecting with everyone here.
Name: Lindsay Pollard
Location: Costa Rica
Current Role: Head of Partnerships at F45 Training and leading our regenerative child education system planning at Nido Farm.

Hobbies: Hiking & Nature Exploration (Seeking out trails, national parks, and time in wild, natural spaces), Outdoor Adventure (Especially jungle walks and likely with a wellness or discovery angle, Farm-to-Table Cooking, Sourcing & Supporting Regenerative Agriculture (Passionate about understanding where food comes from and supporting vendors who care for the land), and Music Discovery (Finding emerging artists, curating playlists, and using music to shape vibe and experience)

Favorite Follow/Podcast/Show about Wellness: I'm pretty obsessive when it comes to podcasts and will listen to just about anything anyone recommends, even the most extreme concepts. I often tap into Wise Traditions. I'm a big Westin A. Price fan. And while not exactly wellness-focused, I’m hooked on Informed Pregnancy (I’m convinced I have a late-stage career as a doula in me) and Accidental Gods, which feels like it's helping me uncover my purpose and drive.

Topics You're Interested in Connecting About: Regeneration and Systems Thinking, Education (for both children and community), and the Future of Wellness Partnerships

How You Can Help WGM: With 20 years in marketing and advertising and my current role leading partnerships at a global fitness brand, I bring a unique lens into how large-scale wellness platforms can evolve to meet real human needs and desires. I'm passionate about transforming our company into a holistic wellness solution not just a place to work out, but a place to connect, grow, and heal.

I’d love to contribute insights around brand building, strategic partnerships, and scaling purpose-driven initiatives while also learning from others who are leading with integrity and care in this space.

How WGM Can Help You: I’m deep in a personal journey of unlearning and relearning, diving into regenerative systems, community building, and what it truly means to live in harmony with our bodies, families, and the earth. As a mother of two young children, I'm also interested in the intersection of wellness and parenting, and how we create environments that support the next generation. What would be most valuable to me right now is connection with others who are walking that same line: building or leading successful businesses while staying grounded in purpose, regeneration, and connection.
I’d love support in the form of:
Exposure to new ideas and frameworks: Especially around regenerative systems, community-first business models, and truly integrative wellness approaches.
Introductions to aligned partners: Whether they’re brands, practitioners, creators, or scientists, I am interested in speaking to anyone redefining what health and wellness looks like today.
